As we step closer to the unveiling of the latest Apple devices in September, the rumors around the structure of Apple Watch Series 10 are out. The new rumor is that the latest Apple wearable will feature a larger screen than its predecessor.
As Apple gears up for the September publication, a latest report sheds light on the expected characteristics of the next Apple Watch Series 10. The wearable is expected to be revealed at the fall event along with other next devices, including the iPhone 16 series. According to the report by Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to carry primary updates to the screen and design of the Watch Series 10. It is said to feature an edge-to-edge LED with a thinner structure. However, the design is unlikely to look very adorable to the last models. The news comes after Apple researcher, Ming-Chi Kuo has said that the two available case sizes, as per the leaks, could elevate to 45mm and 49mm, up from 41mm and 45mm, respectively, to fit in the bigger screen.
According to the news, both models of Series 10 will get larger screens. The primary variant is speculated to have a screen as large as the one Searched on the Apple Watch Ultra. Meanwhile, the Ultra version will not feature a primary design change, but the present one is only dated to 2022.
Apple Watch Series 10: What to Desire
Other than a large display and a thin design, Apple is also expected to carry enhancements under the hood. The speculations are that the wearables will characterize a latest chipset. This upgrade might also carry in the latest AI enhancements, a step towards carrying AI to the wearables. But, the report clears the air that this advancement does not mean that watches will bring Apple Intelligence. For now, Apple Intelligence is only made for iPhones, iPad, and Mac. And there are no plans to carry it to the Watch versions yet.
Coming to the health matters, this series was in conversations to bring long-term health devices, like high blood pressure and sleep apnoea controller. The headlines were that Apple is in the making of such devices to be released this era, but it looks like it is more difficult than it sounds. According to the news, Apple has struck some primary roadblocks.
The tech to maintain high blood pressure is reportedly not as cool as it was during the testing period. This may result in postponing the characteristics till the upcoming year. It is noteworthy that even when the feature comes into action, it will not be a replacement for the common blood pressure cuff monitor. Unlike the Apple Watch’s heart rate and blood oxygen apps, this characteristic doesn’t offer a precise blood pressure measurement. Instead, it establishes a private baseline and tracks relative changes, alerting you when your blood pressure is higher than usual, permitting you to correlate the spike with your activities at the time.
Another sleep apnoea characteristic is facing even more challenges, as per the news. That functionality is tied to an individual’s blood oxygen saturation. And as of now, Apple Watches can’t maintain those levels because of an ongoing legal dispute with Masimo Corp, stated in the report.
Apple will also begin using 3D printing technology to make Apple Watch components later this year, following extensive testing which has primarily enhanced the production proficiency.
