LTPO OLED is the technical thing for Apple’s highest-end iPhone display, providing 120Hz ProMotion performance, along with a 1Hz always-on display. It’s available now in market for Apple’s iPhone Pro versions, but has never come to its lower-end iPhones.
1. Under-Display Face ID
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to be the foremost iPhone to feature an under-panel Face ID feature. 2. New Display Sizes

Wi-Fi 7 support would permit the “Pro” models to send and receive information over the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands simultaneously with a supported router, resulting in quicker Wi-Fi speeds, lower latency, and more useful connectivity. The Wi-Fi chip would also permit Apple to further decrease its dependency on external suppliers like Broadcom, which presently supplies Apple with a combined Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip for iPhones.

Apple’s Pro models in the upcoming year will come with 12GB of RAM, claims Jeff Pu of investment firm Haitong. For discussion, the iPhone 15 Pro versions have 8GB of RAM, while the iPhone 16 Pro versions are also expected to have 8GB of RAM.

Apple’s highest-end 2025 iPhone will feature an important narrower Dynamic Island, thanks to the machine’s adoption of a smaller “metalens” for the Face ID system, claims Haitong’s Jeff Pu. Considering that’s the case, it would be the foremost time that Apple has changed the Dynamic Island since it debuted on the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022.
